Kombucha and its amazing benefits on your gut and soul
The name Kombucha refers to the microbiome culture, latin name: Medusomyces gisevii
Everybody has heard about kombucha and how popular it is. We can all agree that it is a matter of acquired taste and that some individuals enjoy it while others do not. However, what is the real story behind this fermented tea’s health benefits?

„Kombucha can energise your gut and soul“
The fermented tea known as kombucha has been around for hundreds of years. It is created with sugar, black tea, and a „tea fungus“ that is actually known as a Scoby. The fungus known as „the mother“ is what makes fermentation possible. The fermentation process starts when the culture of bacteria and yeast consumes the sugar. The end product is a fermented tea that contains a staggering amount of probiotics, making it a superfood.
